Welcome to the big park draw
The Big Park Draw began in 2011, and takes place in Victoria Park, Bristol. Its aim is to encourage people, young and old, who visit the park to discover or rediscover the joy that can be had by drawing. Many people have taken part. Some stayed around the gazebo which was set up by Mrs Brown's Cafe, near the park lodge. Some ventured further afield to be inspired by the park's surroundings.
We had three very successful events during 2016, and to round off the Big Park Draw season we exhibited a selection of works as part of the Art on the hill art trail in October.
We are planning three Big Park Draw dates for your diary in 2017. Watch this space for more details
All materials are supplied. Just bring along your enthusiasm.
In November 2016, the four organisers presented their own work in an exhibition at the CentreSpace Gallery, in Bristol. You can see their works, and some photographs on the Exhibitions page.
Organisers Julian Gregg, Jane Lee, Charlotte Murray and David Smith would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who helped run the events, and who took part in the Big Park draw during 2016. We look forward to seeing you in 2017.
