Welcome to the big park draw
The Big Park Draw began in 2011, and takes place in Victoria Park, Bristol. Its aim is to encourage people, young and old, who visit the park to discover or rediscover the joy that can be had by drawing. Many people have taken part. Some stayed around the gazebo which was set up by Mrs Brown's Cafe, near the park lodge. Some ventured further afield to be inspired by the park's surroundings.
We had three very successful events during 2015, and to round off the Big Park Draw season we exhibited a selection of works as part of the Art on the hill art trail on the 3rd and 4th of October.
There are three Big Park Draw dates for your diary in 2016:
UPDATE 3rd Sept 12.30: We're very sorry to say that because of the rain and the wind we have had to cancel today's Big Park Draw. We are planning more events, so please watch this space for further news.
All materials are supplied. Just bring along your enthusiasm.
Organisers Julian Gregg, Jane Lee, Charlotte Murray and David Smith would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who helped run the events, and who took part in the Big Park draw during 2015. We look forward to seeing you this year.
