Welcome to the big park draw

The Big Park Draw began in 2011, and takes place in Victoria Park, Bristol. Its aim is to encourage people, young and old, who visit the park to discover or rediscover the joy that can be had by drawing. Many people have taken part. Some stayed around the gazebo which was set up by Mrs Brown's Cafe, near the park lodge. Some ventured further afield to be inspired by the park's surroundings.

Big Park Draw is on a break but will be back.

Please watch this space.

We will be having more events in Victoria Park, dates to be announced. All materials are supplied. Just bring along your enthusiasm.

In November 2016, the four organisers presented their own work in an exhibition at the CentreSpace Gallery, in Bristol. You can see their works, and some photographs on the Exhibition 2016 page.

Organisers Julian Gregg, Jane Lee, Charlotte Murray and David Smith would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who helped run the events, and who took part in the Big Park Draw. We look forward to seeing you at future events.

Our thanks go to Meri Rizk, the University of the West of England, and to the Bristol ParkHive project, supporters of the Big Park Draw.
